COUNSELING SERVICES
The Partners of the Mount are provided counseling services by the Lay Counseling Ministry and will be given access to all of the services and care that they have come to expect from Bishop and Elder. Dr. Stacie Otey-Scott, a licensed clinical psychologist, has been brought on-board full time as the Executive Director of Community Wellness, where she will provide her clinical expertise, supervise the Lay Counselor volunteer staff, and grow Summit Wellness Center in accordance with the vision of Bishop and Elder Brown.

At Summit, we adhere to a strong privacy standard and your information is treated with the strictest confidentiality in mind.

Partners can expect meaningful 1 hour sessions, allowing for 1 to 3 visits before a re-evaluation. At re-evaluation we can determine the need for additional sessions or recommend professional care at one of our select community partners.

The Summit Counseling Center has online scheduling available to our Partners. Online scheduling allows for private and discrete appointment scheduling at your convenience. Scheduling only takes about 3 minutes and you can choose your preferred time, date, and Lay Counselor.

Beginning February 11, 2013, Summit Wellness will transition to a fee for services based schedule. The schedule and policies are detailed below. Our continued goal is to provide you with confidential and biblically sound lay counseling.
